Then on the news, we saw her. That pretty baby, dead. Apparently, her dad told his wife it was okay to physically punish Sophia and she took it too far. Bruises, bite marks and other injuries. When I saw that baby in her casket, she never looked so sad. She had hemorrhaged from being shaken and her little face so distorted.

In 1995, I went to live in a group home for unwed underage pregnant girls. There I met a very nice, friendly girl who had been sent to live there after she regained custody of her one month old baby, Sophia. She had numerous digestive upsets, she couldn't eat more than a few ounces before her tummy would hurt and she was very fussy. I watched my new friend try her very best to remedy every situation and she appropriately asked for help from whom ever was around to help out. I often volunteered
