Some of the greatest soundtracks have been from video games. Some examples would be: Fire Emblem, Halo, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, Fable, Grand Theft Auto, Pokemon, Command and Conquer, Street Fighter, Golden Eye....

I could name a whole list. All these great games deserve a level of commitment that they put, which even a few movies couldn't compare to.
