Mario Kart Wii - May 9 08 B

Here are two races that demonstrate what I call the "school of piranha fish": In any race, online, offline or among computer players, most of the racers are going to cluster up together in the middle positions (and the bottom positions if the track has few hazards). They turn the track into a war zone wherever they go, pelting each other with the powerful items as one or two people get to zoom away largely unscathed, blocking the occasional Red Shell and too far away for Blue Shells to do much harm to them.

However, if it's early enough in the race, a person at or near the top could fall into the waters and get torn apart by the piranha fish. They might not ever be able to recover, as they'll get constantly slowed down and interrupted by all the powerful items tossed at each other. This also often leads to consecutive blasts, which can put a player who might normally be doing okay otherwise to wind up at the bottom ranks at the end of a race.

It's all taken as a part of this game that can't be changed though, I say. I learn to live with it, and I'm completely fine with it happening, if a little annoyed.

GCN Peach Beach
The slippery slope begins on the second lap when I get too caught up with CRZ-RIcKy to notice the Cataquack.

Race #4
Dry Dry Ruins
The slippery slope begins right from the start. The main reason I couldn't catch up is because people in front of me often take the Item Boxes I was planning to get. As a result, I had few resources to slow others down with, and anybody who's tried to race online without items will inevitably get destroyed.

does avoiding a lightning cloud use pretty much the same strategy for avoiding a POW block or is there a different strategy to it?

You just try not to touch whomever has the Lightning Cloud, or it'll go to you. Kind of like a fever. If you get the Lightning Cloud, bump it against someone else to give it to them.

After a week of traveling and a week adapting to study i can see your vids again and come with my never coherent commentaries.

i would say that the slippery slope wouln't be the start but it really would be the double pokey hit and when you crashed a shell that was weirdly placed on the floor. what happened with the double pokey thing i thought you would avoid the second one?

..... Old Mario!?! Also Birdo....That's kind of like adding sonic to the game. I guess a lot of people like Birdo but it's just wierd. I also thought of something, they should make another MKW but this time add special attacks, such as Birdo shooting out an egg....Or Mario burning people with flame. It would be just like SSBB with the Smash Ball. They could make a thing where the first person to cross the finish line in the first lap gets the Smash Ball or whatever you want to call it.

I just unlocked all charecters but I don't understand how I unlocked Bowser Jr. How do you unlock him, I think it might of been gettting two stars on all 100cc cup races but I'm not sure, Mario Kart has inproved and decreased in it's charecters that you get to choce from and unlock. But I will say that this Mario Kart has by far the worst Charecters, I mean Mario Baby Mario, Lugi Baby Lugi, Daisy Baby Daisy, Peach Baby Peach, TO MANY OF THE SAME CHARECTERS IN OLD OR YOUNGER FORM, What's next....
