i've always been wondering about the ending. doesnt that make it so that all of the stuff that happens in the anime not happen?

All of the time lines in Higurashi are alternate worlds of one another. Therefore, whatever happens in the alternate time line in the final scene of the last episode would be different than the entire series, but it would have to no effect on the other time lines.

you know what's odd? the only thing i found REALLY disturbing in this series (like, i'd seen all the gore scenes before i even watched the episodes) is when Satoko goes to the school and sees everyone there that had died from the gas...ugh

I think what mion did to shion was very painful that the only thing I could'nt whatch without thinking ow ow that look so painfull.

and there an ova that come on july 21st its called higurashi no naku koro ni kira.

also you can think of that this way everytime rika died she move to another world->fact therefor when the truck hit her she died and moved to another world,but this time she could come back too.

Respond to this video... theres only 1 scene in this entire show that was sad to me and ironic when keichi sees wat he did in the other world and you see him beating them and rena says see im not lying and contiues to beat them it wuz kind of sas
