i found baby fish in my tank!

omg i found the baby fish yest wen i was feeding the otha fish we caught 10 n seperated them im so excited!!! so there 2 days old nw srry u can JUST c them, im not sure who the mum is either the balloon mollie or the guppy....

sorry i can't answer for the salt water fish, i don't recommend using it. i would get a 5 to 10 gallon tank if i'm planning on breeding fish. MY WAY IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT.

i just use it to hold my guppy fry after they are born, they stay there until they're big enough so other fish can't eat them.

i mainly use the as feed for my bettas and other fish.

@AnotherGook But don't the little fry die if they get out of it? Wouldn't they get eat from the mother if they leave that tray? and if they do leave it they will most likely get sucked up by the filter....Now does this breeding method work for Salt Water fish tanks? I appreciate the help!

it's a tray that floats along side your tank wall, you can buy it at any pet store. it's for breeding purpose, on the under side of it there's vents that the babies can go through but the mother is too big for, it's to keep the mom from eating her own fry.

I dont get it what are you holding the baby fish in....is it just a regular glass box with the same water as the tank....i have a salt water fish tank with Clown fish in them and all they do is lay hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of eggs like every week or so...and i have no idea what to do with them....They are exactly the same clown fish in the movie "Nemo" do you keep the same water in that small glass box or do u filter it...how do u filter it..?
