  • I totally disagree with Karly, she said that African Americans never had a goal to go to college. This is so untrue, I am African American and a sophomore in college. This girl clearly lives a sheltered life and has no idea what she's talking about. I'm sure that the high school she attends is predominately white. There are more African American students attending college than ever before.

  • That was a great documentary and I agree with a lot of the points of how education coincides with race. I know a lot of African Americans in my school that decide to not go to college after high school. Unfortunately, it is probably a combination of the way they were brought up, lack of enthusiasm, and their parents educational background.
