  • All right Big.

    I read it wrong then.

I know some Derryspeak. If you are from (London)Derry, then I see your opinion. I thought it was some absentee Bolivian revolutionary trying to steer the Northern Irish into more strife. We need it like a combined hole in the head.

Big, it's time to let all this settle. We will agree to differ on Benn. I really cannot stand him.

  • bout ye, as in 'how's about ye' meaning 'how're u doing' in derryspeak. The fact that i wrote bolivia in my profile (i didnt even remember until you noted it) bears no relevance to what i have said

  • You are not from Bolivia? Well, then you are telling big fibs on your profile. You talk with forked tongue.

    Yea, bout you too.

  • where the fuck did my comment disappear to. im not from bolivia! bout ye hi! nationalists had legit grievances which the "protestant state for a protestant people" wouldnt address, soeething to which Benn was responding. I believe the British Army was welcomed into nationalist areas of Derry and elsewhere in 1969 as they were believed to be less biased than the RUC who had indeed attacked the civil rights march. The Army didnt maintain this position, circa bloody sunday etc etc.

  • i'm not from bolivia! bout ye hi! nationlaists had legitimate grievances which were not being addressed by the "protestant state for a protestant people". I do believe the british army was welcomed into nationalist areas in Derry and elsewhere after in 1969 as it was believed they would be less biased than the RUC who had attacked the belfast derry march. The Army didnt maintain this position circa bloody sunday etc etc etc. Che Guevara grandaddy was irish!

  • Well what do you know, wonders never cease! The Bolivian expert on the Northern Ireland problem and of what constitutes a "moral stance". Pass the sick bag, sick bag, quick!!!.

Sort out your own affiars, Guevara, before puking your revolutionary bile over Northern Ireland and its problems.

  • i think Tony Benn is a shining example to other politicians. Regarding Northern Ireland, he took a moral stance on what was at base an unnatural and unwarranted partition of eire. This moral stance ocnitnued in his support for the civil rights movement in NI-people dont take up arms without good reason, unless as is historically evident they are protecting privilige. This civil rights movement was denigrated by the NI state and this is what caused the resurrection of the IRA
