Dumb question but how hard is gunsmithing school & obtaining the licenses for a variety of firearms?
Bronzecop 7 months ago
@Bronzecop Unlicensed persons can own machine guns if they pass a background check thru ATF & FBI. If you want to buy and sell full-auto you get a FFL01 license and pay a special SOT tax. To build machine guns up to .55 caliber you get a FFL 07 and also pay the SOT tax. Thats all you need, you can go thru gunsmith schools but its not manditory to get a license. I never took a gunsmith class just read, read and tinkered with full-auto since I was 20yrs old. It helps to talk to knowledgable guys.

@C2builder you should make a video of the process and paper work somebody would have to go through in order to become a manufacturer such as yourself. I am very interested in doing this I just have no idea where to start.

@91Gage I would but it's far too complicated and long. I would recieve far more questions than I could answer. Thanks though.
