  • Not a streetable cam, poor girl has such a hard time idling

  • @MrPuddingate it usually costs 2k

  • how the hell do you pass emissions in cali with that shit lol please id like to know

  • Sounds perfect just as it is...

  • @187streetsoldier I know all about porting and polishing, AND the difference between a Cold Air Intake. I didn't say anything about a cold air intake. I said just a PLAIN K&N air filter. What I said was people use K&N to let more air into engine. Porting and polishing will allow many more times the volumn of air into the cylinders than just a K&N filter. Whe you port and polish stock intakes you remove those restrictions meaning more air THUS MORE HP.

  • @surrynet A cold air intake is FAAAAR from porting and polishing heads/intake manifold lol. Stock intakes have huge silencers and restrictions and such. That different from internal air flow of en engine. I'm not a dumb kid :p lol. I don't know everything, jsut enough to build an engine or two.

  • @187streetsoldier Yes to a certain extent. Most engines can benefit from breathing better, even with a stock cam. Most stock cams can handle the extra air. A stock engine is stiffled to meet epa, but trust me open the heads up and bigger valves (not HUGE) and you will see an hp gain. Why do you think people use K&N airfilters?. To get more airflow. Same with headwork.

  • @surrynet From what I heard to much air on a stock engine ie: porting and polishing everything will actually net LESS horsepower. Unless you have a bigger cam needing the air.

  • thats fuckin mean

  • @mafiadave I know that fact. What I am talking about is take a stock engine and put in bigger cam and not mess with the heads, put on dyno, now put stock cam back in and take and port and polish heads and add bigger valves, And I will kiss anyone's butt and give it 30 days to draw a crowd if the engine with JUST HEAD WORK doesn't produce more HP than the engine with just. a cam change. After 30 years working for GM, we've seen all type of customers car configurations coming in.
