dear, Ogre i like saw,AND IM 10!!! i like gore ._.' and people dieing (IN MOVIES). i like FD i like gorey games i like gory zombie games but but i can see how other people shouldnt like i dont have TV or radio so im hungry for entertanment but if ur really THAT concerned maybe u should stop it except for ranting because like i said im ten and Nakateleei has played gorey games so i got a little confused...is this a support or derate comment?

@wayidan Just no. No offense, but in all honesty I'm pretty sure you're the exact kind of person he's talking about. And I don't know where you're coming from saying I play gory games. I never play them. I hate them and wouldn't so much as touch them.

Wait, regarding your rant on violence...you're a big fan of Hokuto no Ken and JoJo which are very graphic and gory mangas, hypocrite much or are you okay with extreme levels of gore only when it fits into the story and the setting? I don't understand your rant, I agree that movies like Saw and Final Destination are mindless but the gore is not what makes them awful, poor direction and poor storytelling does.

@gathimest The difference is how it's portrayed. Violence on its own is unimportant. In Hokuto no Ken, the man is fighting off evil guys who have done far worse themselves. Movies like Saw on the otherhand, the violence is there for little reason. It's there for the sake of being overly, unnecessarily disturbing and violent. The story might as well not exist. I read Hokuto to watch Ken beating people up. People watch Saw just to see people get mutilated, which is just disgusting.

If that's Ogre's opinion on Final Destination and Saw, I'd hate to hear his opinion on the Spike TV show "1000 Ways to Die"... and how it's gone on for 3 seasons already. Heh...

That said, I watched the first three movies, didn't bother seeing the fourth or fifth, and with Saw, I just watched the first two films, then lost interest.

All things considered, I consider the series successful (hard not to, it's spanned 5 and 7 films, respectively), but... it's just not my cup of proverbial tea.

i have to agree with Ogre final destination is a really bad movie it has no plot to it it is just a movie that is only based on its gore if I want to see a gorey movie I rather watch a horror movie where theres some gore and has some sort of weird story.

The rant may have been like a year ago but oh well.

I'm not going to say whether or not Final Destination or Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was a good or a bad movie, but I've got to point out to you, Ogre, and you can at least agree with me on this one. You have to still agree that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, right?
