I don't get it... isn't this just getting the inside more wet? My iPhone is water damaged badly, it's fully functional when plugged into the charger, but when you unplug it it just switches off, can anyone help me? :L

an iphone want takes a bath 2!! and when you dont do that he fails him self

NEVER BUT IPHONE IN ALCOHOL TOGETHER WITH SCREEN. You see what you did there? The screen backlight is screwed because there's alcohol between LCD diffuser layers and this is NEVER going to dry out - you need to buy a new screen. Also, alcohol dissolves all kinds of glues in iPhone. So ALWAYS disassemble the phone and put ONLY MOTHERBOARD in the alcohol tank. I know because I made the same mistake myself. Damn!

U probably just got lucky by immersing it in alcohol... theres a good chance a lot of alcohol could have gotten caught in your iPhone and damaged some of its components...
if you really want to clean it, u have to take it apart and rinse the *logic board* with alcohol, not the entire thing.

Yeah this works but im confused. Why put it in liquid for an hour even after it was in another liquid? Eh. Well great video.

@stefo1998 I don't know if this will work, but the rice is not working for me. If you do try this let me know if it worked.

Fake
I went into pool and my iPhone along with a wallet immersed for about 10 minutes. I even charged the wet phone that day. After realizing that ther is no hope for the iphone I googled and read an article saying a 91% alcohol will make the device work again. And rest is selfexplainatory. I let it dry for 3 days and it started to work when I connected to A Mac.
