Patch Adams Russia Clown Tour (2009)

In November 2009, medical doctor, clown and social activist Dr Hunter 'Patch' Adams led 36 clowns from 10 countries to Russia on the 25th anniversary of the annual humanitarian clown trip. The clowns ranged from 16 to 86 years of age.

Patch's goals for the trip were simple; love, fun, intimacy and friendship. Humanitari...an clowning is not simply about entertaining, it is about building friendships and making connections in the context of social change.

The trip was about connecting with people and spreading as much fun and love everywhere as is humanly possible.

We were devoted to clowning in orphanages, hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, subways, restaurants, on street corners - everywhere and anywhere.

Remember, to the world you may only be one person, but to that one person you may be the world. Be the change you wish to see in this world.
