James Cagney in "The Oklahoma Kid" (1939). Jim did everything, including Westerns. This movie has an unexpected political slant to it that I wanted to highlight. The music is "Don't Fence Me In" by Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters, circa 1945.

It's my very first video attempt (hence the green line *drat*).

  • @joeparkson Of course he could, he's James Cagney :)

  • The antisocial hero myth.

  • What green line?!...Oh, THAT one. Anyway, great video.

  • @joeparkson Once Ward Bond bet John Wayne he could stand on one end of a sheet of newspaper and Wayne could stand on the other end and Wayne couldn't knock him off the paper. This was at Director John Fords house. Wayne took the bet. Then Ward Bond put the paper in a door way and closed the door so the Wayne's end of the paper was on the other side of the door. As Bond started to laugh John Wayne drove his fist through the door and knocked Ward Bong off the paper.

  • Not just Cagney, Bogie was in this too, they both did everything, even westerns.

  • why you dirty rat.you killed my brother:(
