  • I think Jesse was the greatest singer, I have ever had the privilege in all my 67 years of life, I remember when I first heard him sing Guess Who, I believe I was 15 years old, and I would play that song on the juke box until, they gave it to me, then I went looking for any record of his I could find, I found 3 45s, I even wrote to RCA and they sent me a poster of the Mr Easy picture they were going to use on his new album. I would love to find the album of his songs, Jesse Jr talked about.

  • @2Hadassah Thanks Again....., I left you a personal message on your channel Sir.

    Jesse Jr.

  • I want to commend you for keeping your father's music alive. If it wasn't for you he would have been overlooked even more. I've learned so much from listening to the interview, music, and you. Clyde McPhatter, Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, and Jesse Belvin all open the doors for all the black acts that came after them, including Motown. Clyde, Sam, Jackie, and Jesse set the foundation of soul and rhythm and blues. They all left too soon but left behind some great music for us to remember them by.

  • @rhythmbluessoul "THANK YOU MUCH"......,for I most defenitely agree w/ you.

    God Bless,

    Jesse Jr.

  • Amazing! Thank you for keeping your dad's legacy alive. One of the great unsung music legends.

  • @rb0405 No....."THANK YOU"....,for this kind of support! The Belvin Family & Friends truly appreciate your helping to keep his legacy alive.

    Jesse Jr.

  • The three rulers of southern Calif. music-back in the day.Jesse Belvin, Johnny Otis & Richard Berry. "Goodnight My Love" blew me away when I was only a kid of 10 or so. Beautiful song. Jesse, in retrospect, would have been another Nat "King" Cole.

  • Great!!! Thr KING of LA R &B. All the singers in LA worshipped him.

  • First of all, people for years have compared my voice to Nat King Cole. I immediately halt their statement by telling all, NO I followed the voice of Jesse Belvin. Many respond by saying Who? Man, this is great. I have never watched your father perform. I did not even know he had a son. I grew as a teenager across the tracks and Jesse' jam "Guess Who" and "Goodnight my love" were the red light, highlight of a many house party. Thanks sir. I will be writing you again.

  • Jesse, Sam Cooke, Clyde McPhatter - peerless vocalists. Happy holidays, Jesse Jr.
