A Quick description of how to install Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Paste. OR any thermal paste in general. Check out my channel but DON'T subscribe.....I don't care about you people enough to put a lot of videos up :D

    hahahahaha, I guess it did sound like that huh? I'll tell ya, that was my OLDDDDD camera... the audio wouldnt play on my computer so I had to use my gaming mic to record off the camera and then go to sony vegas and pair up the audio and video.. it was PRETTTYYYY ghettoooo

  • @Saccdaddy I havent changed the paste or taken my heatsink off for a year+

    in retrospect.. I have a dell computer from 2004 downstairs and it has stock thermal paste since its manufacture date and it runs ~40C... pentium 4 lawl

  • Wha?! Where did you learn this process? Just put a ball of it in the middle and then install the heatsink. Let the clips ooze it out. the middle of the cover is the hottest part anyway.

  • @kalijasin The paste is as important as the heatsink.. The paste makes for much better heat conductivity than air does. If you had 2 perfectly flat surfaces, you wouldn't need the paste, but since microscopic scratches happen just by breathing on the darn thing, you need the paste.
