If that;s from 1981 then their transmitter/antenna was still up near New Braunfels (where it'd been since s/on Sep 1962). KLRU came on in 1979, and by 1984 they'd split up with KLRN setting up new antenna s.e. of San Antonio (Foster Road) giving this town a better signal (and making all those Ch 9 antennas aimed n.e. obsolete)
