  • very well centered on teh line when u took off, I started lerning 3 weeks ago, had 5 hours flying so far... find it very hard to keep it on the center line when taking off, need to do small changes to keep it centre...

    well done

  • I am doing my CFI training right now and almost done with it. Flying is a wonderful thing!

About taking off on centerline, you wanna increase right rudder (since whenever you have a higher power setting, the aircraft tends to yaw left, therefore you need to compensate). Also make sure you have your wind correction in before take off (if there is a crosswind) and gradually neutralize the ailerons as wheels are airborne.

  • How did you put the airtraffic controler's voice in

  • I had the comms set on speaker instead of headset so that is why you can hear it. Then I just increased the volume on the tower when I edited the video.

  • Music is

Steven Stevens and Harold Faltermeyer - Top Gun Anthem

  • Cool video man ! From one pilot to another, There's no greater feeling. Yessss sir!!

  • wat song is this?

  • Good job on video. I used a different song from Top Gun on my videos of multiple take offs LOL

  • Oh... since we are sharing videos. My flight is on Google. Do a search on Google Video for Cessna 172R Hoover Dam and that will be my video.

  • Another time at Salisbury, I had to hold short of the active as an SR-71 Blackbird did a touch and go. It was the last flight of the Blackbird before it was retired. It seems perhaps SBY is a must visit for retiring military aircraft. Don't know why, but...

  • Enjoyed your video! I used to fly out of Salisbury, way back in 1973. Its a popular airport apparently, I was preparing to depart there one day and the OLD Air Force One was doing touch and goes. Ever see pics of JFK's AF1? That was the plane.

  • im a pilot myself (working on my commercial) its good to see lots of flying videos up and people taking intrest of "slipping the surly bonds of earth"

  • THanks will do that next week, currently doing part time because im working, three months from now I will start to do full time... going all the way to ATPL... I have 6 hours now :-) good luck
