MELBOURNE DESIGN AWARD 2010 ENTRY:
HEADSPACE by Stanislav Roudavski & Annie Walsh is an experimental collection of micro-scale architectures for the head. The headpieces have been developed using cutting-edge computer techniques that enable designers to make otherwise impossible complex forms from paper. The collection includes several hundred designs that were paraded through the streets of Melbourne and discussed in design forums around the world. The movie depicting the HEADSPACE 1 event has been shown in New York and Moscow architecture and design film festivals.
You can see a longer (exhibition) cut and some further explanation of this movie on Vimeo. We would also like to acknowledge that this movie was shown in the 2010 Architecture and Design Film Festival, New York, and in the 2010 Moscow Architecture Film Festival. Thanks for voting.
