  • My favorite part is at 2:09. Who knew Beethoven with into jazz? ;-)

  • Wow, I like those accents, especially at 0:21. Very fine and transparent. Only the grands wing at 1:18 looks a bit crappy. Poor thing. The violinists face at 1:40 is priceless :)

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I had the great good fortune to see her performing this last night in London( with Sir Colin Davis and the LSO).as part of her London Beethoven cycle this autumn/winter

What a musical joy that came over. She is soo enthusiastic in her playing. She is at her peak!

  • @sutherndudetx It's not jazz, it is "Tico Tico no Fubá"!!! hahah

  • @Glouryian I think the piano is Uchida's and she brought it to Berlin especially for these Beethoven concerts

  • excelente saludos Colombia

  • Mitsuko makes Beethoven concertos sound like new. Like her recordings of the late Beethoven sonatas. I have sung in chorus of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, at Marlboro Music Festival. She has such joy of making music, it is so much fun. If , whoever wants a perfect note performance, go to cds. I want spontaneity, a few dropped, or 1/2 notes out, don't bother me a bit. Big fat hairy deal, man. the performance was a delight.

  • @Brighteyes1ful What has her hairstyle got to do anything with music? have you seen Rattle's hair, or Kissin's? Stop being so superficial.
