My GrandFather Frank Beamish was a Tail Gunner in the Lanc (S-Sugar) completed alot of missions and is still alive today. Thankfully, because he has some amazing accounts of the time. It is very chilling to hear these stories from him instead of just reading them in a book. The tail gunners were in the worst positions of the plane, first to be picked off by the Luftwaffe. I am very proud of him. A true hero.

my old deputy head teacher flew in one of these things to blow up some dams in north west germany. God bless him and all those who flew with him and also Mr Barnes Wallis

Nice spelling of these german birds: its like shitfire or lamejester or mosque-eato
c´mon if You praise Your birds write the names wrong like Messershit, Fuck Wolf or write them write right like Messerschmitt and Focke Wulf, its not that hard to figure it out in the internet, and of course was the Avro Lancaster a real good bomber design, the Luftwaffe had nothing in comparision
