There is a TSB out for this NTB06-040. I had this happen and I had the procedure done.

I just bought the 04 Armada 3 weeks ago and have had this happen twice already.

I went to the dealer and they told me to pay $930 to reset the computer and change out the faulty master cylinder sensor so I am contacting all the media, local and national to make them aware that there is a potential hazard here that NISSAN will not recognize as a RECALL. I'm sure TOYOTA won't mind getting the media off their backs for awhile. The question is, Does somebody really need to die before they fix their problems?? Thank for posting this!!

This is a long shot, but before I buy an 04 here, does anyone know a DYI fix or bypass for this brake system?
I realize the demographic of this type of car probably doesn't have many smart mechanically inclined people, but I don't mind bypassing if it involves some splicing some wires or fooling an ECU if its possible.

Same problem here. I was good after the reprogram $99, but the safety issue is back. Did you have any more issues since?
