"Extreme Poverty" ummmmm, the reason many people arnt working is a lotta people are broke
so just give everybody on the planet 3,000 dollars & watch the instant demand on labor & people working & making money & products for eachother, extra 3,000 people can get home improvement, which creates jobs, vacation which creates jobs at resorts & down payments on cars creating jobs in the auto industry

It is great to use technology for proactive measures, although more people are abusing technology and being part of the problem than part of the solution. Nature ultimately determines our longevity as a species. All heck may break loose and no such peace can be found once everything fails without notice and the shortage of food, water, electricity and shelter is imminent! Change starts at home inside yourselves. Idealism is good for imagination only.

As for sources, in both part 1 and part 2 there is a playlist in the description to videos that cover some of what is discussed in each video. Also, one of the best books I can recommend is "The Singularity is Near" by Ray Kurzweil.
