Thanks for your reply, I will look around to see if anyone in my area has these. I can't think of a way to duplicate this, especially the negative portion. Maybe with the positive portion you could train partial ranges, but that still isn't as good as the CZT.

What is the difference between the machine you used the first set and the leg press?
ezekiel7771 1 year ago
@ezekiel7771 A different accommodating resistance along the range-of-motion strength curve. The CZT provides for an instantaneousness feedback which provides for a maximized output along each point in the strength curve. In other words, I'm handling my max at my bio-mechanically weakest *and* strongest positions -- and everywhere in between. No "coasting"...ever. Therefore, 5 all-out reps is about all one can handle.

Are you using steroids?

@papetatedouces If I had a dime for every time I've been asked that question :) No, I'm in this game for longevity and overall health. Not that I think that steroids are the unabashed evil that they've been made out to be (no "bad" substances, only stupid uses and users), but it's just not something I choose to partake in. Kinda like my steering clear of hookers and cocaine :0
