Sufficient CO2 is now in the global stmosphere that even if we turned off CO2 emissions today the lag time for continuing ocean acidification is centuries. The ecosystem of the blue planet is rebooting back to a more 'root' level system, tha being the domain of the cyanobacters. Those cyanobacters underwent evolution starting 600 million years ago resulting in the present ecology. Only ocean ecorestoration offers a hope to compete with acidification.
Thanks to the creators of this film - the oceans are in a crisis, and most people are completely unaware of it.
