This week we take a look at Tate Britain's groundbreaking Watercolour exhibition, with Project Leader Alison Smith. The most ambitious survey of watercolour ever to be staged, with works spanning 800 years, the show celebrates the many different ways watercolour has been used over the centuries. From illuminated manuscripts and miniatures through to war art, botanical illustrations and abstract paintings.
