Not my shot through the window of Gold Lion Pub but I was though onboard on that very day, April 19th, 2004 on her maiden transatlantic crossing. Downloaded the file from the Internet on May 16th, 2004. Whoever shot it, thanks for catching and sharing the moment :)

  • That just looked scary as hell!

  • Would Oasis of the Seas survive seas like that?

  • Kudos to the passengers. No one panicked.

  • I would have been saying a quick prayer before that wave hit the window , If i did,nt know the glass is 2 inch thick .

  • thats the disadvantage when you save money by booking a 4 th class cabin cruise...

than you are down there at the waterline....

No, to be serious: thank God, that the glass-manufacturer had no bad day when producing your window...

  • Wow, that's, like, the third or fourth deck from the waterline!

  • Great...i would have loved to be there...:D But next year i am :D

  • I just got off the QM2 and we had great weather; I must say that I'd be scared if I were on her maiden voyage.

  • like from the movie Poseidon :D

  • Jesus, this is incredibly great.
