@charlesvan13 are you sure it s God that is doing all that?

God sure has a habbit of wiping out civiliztions, enslaving peoples, allowing the innocent to die, and so on. How are you Christians so confident that it's love? Those things display indifference.

@imbrod Haha, IDK if I can change my nickname now, but if I can I'm going to, lol. Just call me Raine. (A woman, lol)
Yes, people say they see a change in me, trust me, I have serious issues, but thanks to the Lord, I place my burdens upon Him and trust that He'll see me through! And He'll do the same for you, cuz He LOOOVES YOU! Take Care and God Bless. Message or add me if you ever want to chat!

@bitchingood Thanks, man - although I don't really like your nick name, so I can't address you by it :) I am glad for you and your faith! Just make sure that your neighbors see the light you shine so they might wonder - what's that source that drives that fellow? And you can answer simply - Jesus! Blessings to you too from Croatia

@imbrod It doesn't sound insane friend. It's simply called faith. :-D. It took many mistakes and tears (as a life-long Christian) to get what you so easily realized even as a babe in Christ. I finally have complete and utter faith in our Lord and I tell ya, I couldn't be happier.I feel warm and oh so LOVED. It's like literally being hugged by God! I applaud you for sharing your beliefs and feelings. I am glad there are more like you in the world. Peace, Love and Blessings from L.A!

@brightsorcerer Actually, this is based on a short story by Isaac Asimov.
This was one of my favorites. The idea that the extinction of one civilization served as a sign to mark Christ's birth is really mind boggling. I do think this was one of the most original, in terms of ideas, in this whole series. Thank you for posting!

"Oh God, there were so many stars you could have used. What was the need to give these people to the fire, that the symbol of their passing might shine above Bethlehem?"
Ouch
