Keynote Speaker
David Batstone

David Batstone, PhD., is a Professor of Ethics in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Francisco. He is the founder and president of the Not for Sale Campaign, a movement to end modern-day slavery. David has authored seven books, including Not For Sale (Harper One) and Saving the Corporate Soul (Jossey-Bass).

David will share about the issue of human trafficking and the partnership between NFSC and Giving Children Hope to establish a new medical clinic in northern Thailand for children rescued out of the labor and sex slave industries.

The evening will feature a gourmet dinner, entertainment, auction, music, and dancing. The Master of Ceremonies is Tom McCoy of McCoy Rigby Entertainment.

Special dance performance by The Kids Next Door of the McCoy Rigby Conservatory of the Arts. Alumni of The Kids Next Door include Tony-nominated actors Susan Egan (Beauty and The Beast) and Matthew Morrison (Light In The Piazza and Fox Televisions Glee), Stephanie Block (Wicked; 9 to 5), Allison Mack (WB Televisions Smallville), Anneliese Van Der Pol (Disney Televisions Thats So Raven) and Columbus Short (Feature Films Stomp The Yard and Cadillac Records), among many other Broadway, Film and Television performers.

Youll also have a chance to meet our three Hollywood filmmakers who are currently in Thailand filming the community for an up-coming documentary.

This event is black tie optional.
