@robertapat100 the teacher had left them unattended and had locked the door to the classroom and because in a lot of villages in iran they don't have electricity they use coal to heat themselves up during the winter...the classroom caught on fire and the kids weren't able to get out. one of my friends visited them in 2008 and had fundraised to buy them school supplies and other things they needed

wow, im so moved by this, little do we know how lucky we are, and these children, all seem so happy, smiling, despite what happened to them.....
