A Case of Harassment Directed at the Harvie Family and Their Dogs Part 1

On August 5, 2006 a softball party was held when several of the adult guests at the party decided to come over to the Harvie fenceline blowing a high pitched whistle, yelling, blowing car horns, and such to harass the Harvie dogs into barking. As well, guests at this party decided come to the fenceline to pull their pants down to show their bare buttocks to the Harvies....or as they stated in court records.....to moon the cameras. I think we all can figure out what the true intent of their actions. You can see one of the gals pulling her pants back up between the trees. One year prior, August 5, 2005, the Harvie dogs were poisoned. One dog died. A person of interest investigated in the dog poisoning, was at this party event. When asked why they were harassing the dogs, the host of the party said "we're not harassing the dogs, we're harassing you". Later that night, an angry guy approx. 23 years old is captured on a camcorder yelling profanities and threatening the dogs. See Video 2.

Various people within this group would harass and incite the dogs to videotape which they then turned in as complaints for incessant dog barking. The court found them to have provoked and harassed the dogs in order to make complaints and ultimately harass/damage the owners. the Harvie family.

Can you please email me directly about this? I have a similar situation where neighbor blows dog whistle at my dogs when they are barking and dog now barks at them.. Dogs do not generally bark at anything but will now bark at neighbors. Help please. genethornton@comcast.net
