Genepax shows off water-powered fuel cell vehicle (by Donald Melanson)

"The key to that system, it seems, is its membrane electrode assembly (or MEA), which contains a material that's capable of breaking down water into hydrogen and oxygen through a chemical reaction. "

Wikipedia on Genepax:

"It is well known that certain metal hydrides will react with water to produce hydrogen —which could in turn be used to power the car. The problem is that the metal hydride is the "fuel" —not the water—because it is consumed by the process of reacting with the water.

Eventually the car will need to be refilled with more metal hydride —and the first law of thermodynamics guarantees that the energy cost of producing the hydride will be greater than the energy produced to drive the car."

A System to Produce, Store and Dispense Hydrogen Gas by Metal Hydride Encapsulation.

"The hydrogen from metal hydride is produced either by heating metal hydride to above 400°C or by reacting the metal hydride with water."

"Wherein the metal content for metal hydride is selected from Sodium, Boron, Lithium, Potassium and magnesium with aluminum or any metal hydride capable of releasing hydrogen."

  • "Chemists searching after truth, are not unlike the navigators of Solomons' Tarshish Fleet, who brought home not only Gold, and Silver, and Ivory, but Apes and Peacocks too; For several of your Hermetick Philosophers present us Theories, which either like Peacocks feathers make a great show, but are not useful; or else like Apes, if they have some appearance of being rational, are blemish'd with some absurdity or other, that when they are Attentively consider'd, makes them appear Ridiculous."

  • Stop going on about laws people. They used to think the sun went around the earth. Wikipedia is just some dorks uneducated opinion. Its plain to see that it fucking works and its not the first engine to run on water. Check Stan Meyer who was killed for his invention.

  • The company is starting to mass produce the water car so is no hoax.

  • The only things that run on water are boats and Megadolomedes australianus.

  • @deceiver123m Have a look at their web site (genepax dot co dot jp) and their BS excuses.

  • @VyseAcher yes but in terms of $ price... does the consumer spend less $ dollars to fuel this car than they would by using a gasoline powered car? because if more energy is wasted and blown out into the atmosphere is not the consumers concern- the end price is what the whole world is paying attention to

  • @LiamXaoh when did it close down- do u have a link to that news article

  • BP Shut them down cold!

  • It a G Wiz

  • Production closed down. Therefore was a hoax.

  • I was answering "VyseAcher" and what he said is 100% true not this HOAX, energy cannot be created nor destroyed, I cant believe that a reputable TV channel would put this on without an expert opinion, I mean you only need a 10th grader (a smart one) to tell you that you cannot create energy. what you put to separate the water to hydrogen and oxygen will be returned at best by the reaction of hydrogen with oxygen (provided 100% efficiency)

  • 100% true
