In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxObserver, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxObserver event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. A type of tech ed. that he's talking about here would actually be extremely useful. I don't know how successful sex ed was in preventing STDs but every teacher i've ever had have led to believe it worked pretty well

Because he lives in London and has for years, and when you hear it every day it becomes habit. He actually uses Britishisms and Americanisms both pretty freely. And why is it obvious he's not British? He's Canadian, BTW.

Doctorow never went to or dropped out university but he's way smarter than the rest of jerk that went to college/uni on here.
