Amazing cover, faithful to the original, yet original in its own way. Mercedes is the best singer in this show, all of her covers are flawless. You go girl!

@hprideaux because it was cut from the episode or never included at all. It appears in Glee Volume 2 (which features songs from Wheels to Sectionals) since an instrumental version of the song briefly appear in Hairography (when Kurt is giving Rachel a make over) most people associate the song with that episode=

@Kayla2258 no this song didn't appear in Yes/No or any episode. It was included in Glee Volume 2 and was presumably cut from the episode Hairography as the beginning of the song (the instrumental part) can be heard when Kurt is giving Rachel a make over.

@hprideaux it's not they got it wrong it's from season 3 episode 10 Yes/No

Well done! I don't really follow Glee much, but I must give this girl credit--she did this song justice. And I'm a longtime Dionne Warwick fan, so that's saying a lot. It's difficult to put into words the effect that Dionne's exquisite, unique vocal tone has on my heart and soul. I suppose that's the difference between a strong, fabulous voice like Mercedes Jones and a phenomenal voice like Dionne's.

@hprideaux it's when Rachel comes to school with her makeover done

Very nice version of a super classic gem. Mercedes stays respectfully close to Dionne's groundwork & for that,I enjoyed listening to her. However,I still go with the original being tops. The musical arrangement here was also very beautiful.
