I dont need theorys I need FACTS. I can read what triggers are through the internet . Go get a allergy test to see what you are allergic to and then avoid them. I first a really red face and then a burning sensation. I looked up on the internet and went to a dermatologist and got on antibiotics and antibiotic cream. It worked but Im going to get off of them and because it not good to be on anitbiotic for a long period and we will see. Anyone had the similiar experience ? get back to me.

There may be an inflammatory response, but I am firmly convinced that there is a neurological/CNS component to a small subset of typical rosaceans. The flush is CNS all the way.
Also, there is a significant genetic element involved here. I'd be happy to discuss any and all theorys by PM.

hi Doctor, Please help with identifieing my problem that none of the videos touch on.
I have the redness but it itches all the time. The dry skin peals off like a sun burn and comes about once every 3 mths for the last 10 yrs.
Is this rosecea?

I am not a doctor.
Suggest you see a dermatologist to identify your problem.
It is not a good idea to diagnose on the internet.

Only a physician can diagnose rosacea through an actual physical exam and history. It is not a good idea to get a diagnosis over the internet. I suggest you see a good dermatologist familiar with rosacea treatment to differentiate rosacea from a host of rosacea mimics

Certain soaps, chemicals, etc., may irritate or trigger rosacea but that doesn't mean it causes the rosacea. No one really knows for sure what causes rosacea. The trigger list is massive and what may trigger your rosacea may not trigger another rosacean. In my book I list the triggers.

i think rosacea is from toxicity of chemicals and ingredients, what do you think brady?
i think detoxing pores with steam will help rosacea purrge chemicals that is causing the inflammation? help!

Rosacea skin is usually very sensitive and may react to steam, but I haven't any experience with this or heard of anyone using steam. Generally heat aggravates rosacea skin. You can try it but be careful and try a test area first, like one side of your face with a small patch test.
