  • Paul doesn't do the growls, it's Tymon. Also, who cares if there is any "death metal" elements in the music. It is a truly unique, beautiful, creative musical vision that these guys have and what they've made isn't for everyone, and that's ok. Those who are looking for "br00t4lity" will not appreciate their music. Those with open minds and open hearts will.

  • It isn't a "pitch corrector". Paul Masvidal uses his vocal effects to take his AMAZING voice and give it the properties of an androgenous celestial being, which is perfect for the message/vibe of their music. Also, there's no way he's trying to sound like Deftones' singer because he was doing this years before they even were a band.

  • I like it when people put down great things, it's easier to mark them as dumb and stoopid!!!!!

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Paul at a bar last year before his show. He was very humble and gracious, and was happy to meet a few fans.

  • EASILY ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS EVER

  • @cosmicbass More like best albums of the 2000's

  • I don't see what everyone sees in this album. The vocals hell. This guy filtered his vocals through about forty thousand synthesizers, machines and other programs that make his vox sound like a god damn robot. Sorry. This 'trend' has never been cool. And by trend I mean the one hit wonder pussies on the radio who do that R&B garbage. Admittedly, he isn't as annoying because his vocals are entirely robotic rather than having that 'twang' the R&B pussies have, but they still suck.

  • whats with the crappy effects? lol

  • @cosmicbass nithing is best of em =)) everything is best off the music they produce :)

  • traced in air in my opinion is the best album ever

  • i really wish more people would have heard this album. i guess everyone has their opinions, but if u honestly sit through this entire album full on with an open mind, and dont like it and just hate on it, then i dont have much respect for you musically

  • @supertrixxx are you sure? that's mental man. outstanding.
