Meanwhile, Lucy fears that her relationship with Jimmy Moon will suffer when they both decide to run for class president. In order for Mary to fit in with her basketball team friends, she thinks about getting a tattoo since the rest of the team is doing it.

@delmodet Art on the skin? LOL I see kids today that get ink after ink done. for the simple reason of just having ink done to "fit in" It's a permanent thing. You get ink done it better mean something to you that is going to last a lifetime because hellp old people with tats are just horrid.

@delmodet Eric grew up in a completely different generation when tattoos were viewed quite differently in society. Back then to most people having a tattoo meant you were probably a sailor, a biker, or a troublemaker. When society changes sometimes the mentality of the older generation doesn't change with it. When Mary moves out she can do what she likes.

Why would a 14-year-old even think there was a possibility of her parents letting her get a tattoo? And why would anyone get a tattoo of their school mascot? I'm pretty sure when you're 50 you won't care about your school mascot anymore.

@MilitaryMan006 That sucks in my neighborhood I do that in the dark night or early morning. I get a ride whenever possible I wasn't jumped but some in my neighborhood have been. What I get is the nasty guys in their cars..some pull up offer rides! That's equally scary!!!!!!!!!! For me at least!
