charlie glotzback drove from a dead stop to one lap mark at 199 mph and it wasn't a gull wing coop , it could seat four people compfortably if the seats were in it. and you didn't mind a little freash air.

No... It's a 4 stroke. Let me explain to you what it is: F1 engines are quite different from your every day engine. They have very large bores, very short strokes. High compression ratios, high lift camshafts, high overlap valve timing, low inertia, low weight internals (very light flywheel)... single injector per cylinder (making it a trade off. Poor low RPM metering to allow for high RPM precision injection). This collectively demands a high idle speed, and sounds like that.

nascar v. F1 can be decided by the camera person. F1 gets something to follow not just pan back and forth, however nascar camera operator for sure gets to drink on the job
