British born Thai boxer, Ronnie Green was recognized as one of the top European fighters of his

time, having competed throughout the world in both Kick boxing and Thai Boxing. He had fought

against many formidable Thai fighters from Thailand, where he was noted as being a great

tactician. He had a tremendous roundhouse kick where he had been able to kick faster than his

opponent could often punch, giving him the name 'Machine Gun'. Ronnie became a five time

Muay Thai Champion. Has fought against 35 Thais, and only loosing to one. He held WKA super

featherweight, IMF lightweight, IFCF lightweight and other European and British titles.

  • he is from manchester i trained with him 20 years ago. id put him in the ring against anybody in his day. any style

  • @70Mack you cant start in another combat art at the age he did and succeed.A few thais have done it but were still young when they switched.

  • I know Ronnie, I went through school with him and indeed he did start with Judo at Sale West Centre.

    I would love to read his biography, Iam aware that it is in progress and look forward to reading how he describes us lot back then. It will make an interesting read. The same people he knew back in his early teens are still his friends today. He is still the same person :) a good kid...now a good man.

  • Nice fella.Multiple martial arts titles,soon as he tried western boxing he got hammered/KO'ed by absolute nobodys.
