The problem with people that rag on FJ's or any other off road vehicle don't realize it's like being in a charity organization and half the people that support the charity argue about whose shoes are better!!! We all like to offroad and we all enjoy it, so stop ragging on people who are trying to keep these trails open and support the art of off roading!!! Grow up and pull your heads out of your dirty butt holes!!!

@DaLumbaJak All you need is a good spotter and you have to trust them with your truck. If you can do that then you are okay to do most of the trails at Hollister. I know.

i have an 07 FJ and have been wanting to take it off roading but not do any serious off roading with it. would Hollister Hills be a good choice for a, i guess a bunny slope? haha

How does the 4runner stack up against the FJ?
I would get the FJ in a heart beat if it wasn't so damn ugly

In stock form the FJC has better traction devices and a bit more clearance. You can also get sliders from the factory.
The new TE 4Runner will come with the same traction devices as the FJC. And if you go aftermarket suspension the clearance issue is solved. Aftermarket sliders for the 4Runner as well.
They both have the the same platform and many parts work on both.
