this anime is a figuritive espression for drug wars through out mexico, and the two main characters are the two rival gangs, who learnt to be friendly. it's quoted by the creator in a japanese magiazine. I read it.

I recommend Midori no hibi after this anime. It'll help you get over it. This is easily the most depressing anime I've ever seen.

this is a really touching anime...i love the song shu ji's always singing called 梦见るために.

btw, take and yukari are tragedy. when yukari shot that pilot screaming Take it's killing me.
