UPDATE: The exhaust is now in the back with an aftermarket muffler (not just a tip), and it sounds alot deeper and smoother, plus it looks better.

Like what you see? Look at the rest of my car here on my Cardomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2619314

This is my 2004 Chevy Aveo hatch with a Flowmaster 60 Series Delta. It was a custom job with bent piping and a chrome tip *update I had the piping redone and it's basically the same, just not chrome, I put flat black paint on it and it looks really nice*

P.S. That "gargling" sound happens if condensation gets into the muffler, it disappears after about 10 minutes of running (when it boils off).

  • why the fuck would you put an aftermarket muffler on a car that can barely hit 60 mph?

  • There's a difference. I did it for the sound and the look, not performance, I put it on the side for the side skirts I was planning on getting, however I gave up on all the plans, the car is getting old, it's too late to do anything serious with it knowing I could just get a better car with the $...

And a side note, yes it can go to 100mph, however it takes a LONG time to do it, 0-100 took like 1 minute, 30 seconds of which were from 80-100mph, it's an economy car for a reason.

  • i like the sound of you car it looks good too but i beg to differ with the speed mine went 115 is the fastest iv ever had it and it dident take a minute to get it there?

  • I didn't say it stops at 100mph, I said I've gotten it there. Also I was on a public road late at night. And I'm not sure how you got there any quicker, since anything above 70mph all the engine's remaining power is used to push through the wind, and 103hp disappears pretty quick at that speed.

  • im not trying to be mean but out of all the cars you would want to fix up why aveo, not unless you are planning to throw a supercharger in there then you would have a real sleeper, but just for cosmetics looks no dont do that.

  • Also no I'm not planning on doing too much more to it, I'll probably just get a new car by the time I get enough $ to do more stuff to it. The first model year Aveos were pretty crappy, like the top radiator hose attachment to the engine was made out of plastic, I found that out when it blew and spilled fluid all over my engine, luckily I was parked when it happened. Aveos now have completely metal couplings.

  • @Pooleh08 Haters gonna hate.

  • Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Sounds like crap and do you realize this just a rebadged POS Daewoo?! What a waste of time/money and effort. LOL

  • @irishmikelley I couldn't have said it any better

  • @LamboK28992 i think its what they call "polishing a turd"...

  • im glad you felt it was necessary to explain all of that with those lil popups in your video.

  • @toyoracing89 I have no doubt with all those mods you could beat out a stock civic but you most certainly did not leave mustang GT's in the dust. unless they werent racing that is.

  • @toyoracing89

how much power did it make?

  • @g0ast I had an Aveo for about 6 months and I actually liked the car. But I was one of the few who got a car that already had most of what needed done, done. It was a blue metallic with 18'' Motegi traclites, custom dual exhaust, tein custom fabbed suspension and a widebody kit. All I really had to do was stroke the motor out to a 2.0, cold air intake, and headers. Still got about 35 MPG and I left plenty of Civics and Stock Mustang GT's standing. And the car weighed barely 2000lbs

  • where did you buy your grille and stuff

  • its an aveo......
