According to Whatantics Productions this is " Marlin Wilson's East of Eden footage. He is also a great man who allowed the footage in its entirety to be shown for the first time."
I would like to thank Whatantics Productions by allowing this video to be uploaded for James Dean fans and contribuing to keep Jimmy's memory alive.

  • This his great! Thanks for posting. Nice work, where did you get it?

  • @RuiElias1979 On the Dvd Born Cool! Glad you liked it. Are you portuguese?

  • thanks a lot for the video!

  • @mazias Your are most welcome:)))

  • Hi Salome, You'll know I have seen this before but it is as excellent as usual from your devotion to sharing what you can of Jimmy's legacy. So, thank you for that. You also know that it is literally true that his screen presence in 1956 when I was 14 kept me in this world. In the footage, the first sighting I had is being rehearsed. More than a fan, then. If you visit Fairmount you will meet people who talk like the guy in this video. Salt of the earth. Take care, Bert

  • @bertbretherton Thank you so much for your comment Bert. It always means a lot to me! Visiting Fairmount is one of my dreams and plans in a short time. I hardly can't wait to pay my respects to Jimmy and to visit the places he had been to, the James Dean Gallery, The Museum...! And whatever I can do to keep Jimmy's memory alive, I will!

  • Wonderful footage, thank you for sharing it with all of us!

  • The narrator in this clip claims at: 1:06 that the person rounding the corner in the "sports car" is James Dean in his MG. While it is true that James Dean did own an MG before he purchased his first Porsche (a 1954 Porsche Pre-A Speedster 1500 Super), the model of MG that Dean owned was an MG-TD (a red one). The "sports car" in this excellent clip is not an MG product, but is a Jaguar XK120 (looks to be a 1954 model).

  • @salomevaquero75 I guess i´ll have to look for that dvd. And yes, i´m portuguese! Hugs =)

  • My son, Adam, will be there (at The James Dean Gallery) from late 6 July until early 3 October. Lucky boy!
