This little boat is SERIOUSLY quick!
My son Joel had real trouble keeping up with the camera in places! All credit to him though he did a pretty good job!
The footage here is in real time, not speeded up in any way!
Marketed by Ripmax in the UK it's an ARTR model, just add LIPO and Radio, the boat doesn't need any setting up, just put it in the water and off you go! It's really stable and easy to pilot. Everyone who sees it run is gobsmacked at the speed and handling!
Fibreglass deep vee hull with anodised CNC rudder and turn fins it's a really nice bit of kit.
Both the brushless motor and the ESC are water cooled. I chose 11.1V 3S Overlander 2200 mAh LiPos and Planet T5 2.4Ghz Radio.
This motor/ESC combo is also available in a Cat and Hydro version.
If you want some serious fun BUY ONE!
I'll be posting onboard footage soon!

  • Absolutely Stock! No trimming or adjustments either!

  • I recommend the 2200 3S Overlanders that I use, they're great quality and seem to be the perfect weight for the boat, the only drawback is that you can only charge them at 1S. Alternatively have a look at Giant Cod. They sell a Chinese battery called "Tipple" that can be charged at 5S, I use them in my planes and they'regreat and also cheap!

A word of advice make sure you put bouyancy into the boat. I use a small "Fruit Shoot" bottle pushed into the bow, it's saved my boat more than once!

  • Igen egyenesen a dobozból és nem setup! Szórakozást!

  • You're going o need 2000- - 2500 mAh 3s lipo fitted with a Deans connector.

The ESC is OK but I fried mine and replaced with a 50mAh water cooled ESC from Giant Cod. A good tip is to enclose the RX in a balloon or condom then zip clip the end tight! I actually plastidipped the circuit board on both the RX and ESC as an added waterproofing measure.

  • Wow that looks realy fast Goes the boot realy 50 km/h

  • @MyMomaster

Yes I would say so, you could probably squeeze a little more out of the hull if you replaced the brushless inrunner with something slightly more powerful and also experimented with the prop.

The boat in the video is absoloutely stock set up, I haven't even touched the turn fins since I took it out of the packaging!

Check my vid please.... same boat with 2000mah batt

  • You seem to be answering a few questions about batts so will ask here.

I am going to order one of these but im unsure of the batts i need.

Is it deans connections i need ?

Also, How good is the controller that comes with it? Ive got the magic vee and warrior lite and the ones that came with them are horrible.
