@minakom1224 I think Filipino Americans are the ones who cannot identify whether they are Asian or not. If you'll check out youtube, only the Filipino Americans who have such an identity problem.

@filipenis96 What are you talking about? I am a Filipino and i have to say you dont know the complex history of our people! Look, Filipinos has its own identity as influenced heavily by Spain. But so does the Malaysian and Indpnesian culture which took a lot of influence from Arabs (Islam) and Indian (Batik, Wayang Kulit etc)! We are Filipinos and we have our own identity. We need not to be stereotypical with the rest of Southeast Asians just because we are in Southeast Asia!

You forgot india. No india, then none of those countries. India and China are first, the rest copied or were influenced coughjapancough...and take philippines out of there, they wannabe be Western or worst Latin and Mexican lol...

I'd like to consider some of those countries middleasten...but they are asiatic in culture. I wouldn't mind considering them asian anyway...any part affected by Gengis Khan could/should be asian....

Even being a Filipino, I Can't disagree with you. Philippines are essentially malaysian, and if you want to discover malaysian culture...go to Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Philippines is an "Identity" and a very fake one at that. As far as I am concernced they are Western wannabes, who cannot be saved. Asia doesn't need/want them anyway...
