Man, if I was born in 1966 rather than 1996, then I would be the same age, and I would be able to be at this show! Damn it!

I was at this particular show, when the curtains caught fire. At the end my date asked one lingering lad what he thought. "That was the most amazing fucking thing I have ever seen" was the reply.

@theamazingbeatboxer Enjoy your teen years. They are the best years and you always have any music you want. The times suck yes, but you're too young to waste time worryin about it now. Still focus on what you want to do in life though. Study your surroundings and make wise decisions now. Those decisions you make now will feed you in the future if they are wisely made. Good luck to ya and glad you enjoy Floyd. I grew up with them.

This is the longest performance of "The Last Few Bricks". I wonder what took the bricklayer roadies so long.

I was at that show...like to live that day again. I remember i thought the curtains catching fire was part of the show. Do you remember Cynthia Fox from kmet coming out and entertaining all with herself? Great Band. I never have seen this video before...so cool!

Is this the same recording as on Is There Anybody Out There? 'Cos the beginning sounds same, but this is longer. Did they cut it, or is this other recording?

I had a good view of the entire curtain incident. Some crazy, long-haired stagehand up in the rigging decided to unfurl it after a hot light caught it on fire, nearly incinerating himself in the process. Then a large sheet of glowing orange cinder floated serenely down and directly on the head of an unsuspecting Roger Waters, who was not at all jovial about the fact. I wonder how many others there were tripping balls on acid and not too sure how much of it was really happening...
