my first love (aussie) im South African played this song to me when we were so much in love 10 years agao. I was first introduced to this song in Feb. 2003, by my daughter that I had given up for adoption in 1975. When she found me she told me that this song inspired her in her search for me. I love the verse that says - "In a place that is warm and dark in a place that I can feel the beating of your heart" It was as if she could remember being in the womb, and she was waiting to see my face again. You see, when she was an infant I whispered in her ear and told her I would always be waiting for her.
