As of 08/01/2008:

Yes, my hair was dirty in this video, this was a part two to my blow dry video. I flat ironed ONLY FOR YOU GUYS IN YOUTUBE LAND. That's the only reason this video was made. Period.

My hair has never ever been bone straight, even with a relaxer, it's not supposed to be and I don't force it.

I do NOT want straight hair.

I like my hair.

My hair is healthy.

I use healthy hair practices.

I have been without a chemical relaxer for almost 6 years (Dec. 30, 2002)

I am currently growing my hair out.

I am not bi-racial. My parents are black, their parents were/are black as were their parents and those before them.

My hair would be classified as 4A, fine, kinky and coily. My strands are very fine, I have a lot of hair on my head and my hair clumps together, hence it looking "curlier" than others who might also be 4A.

Sedu is $125 on average.

I use Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide as a heat protectant.

I'm American.

My hair is brastrap length in the back and armpit in the front.

Yes. BUT I had hair when I was a child. I kept my hair cut when it was relaxed. I was growing it out when I chopped it off.

What brand is your eyeshadow and lipstick? I like the shade a lot. Thanks for the video. You have a much better speaking voice than some of these other ladies on here who share beauty tips.

LOL thanks about my voice. I used to get teased about it.

Eyeshadow is very likely MAC Fig 1 with a dark brown in the crease. The lips are probably Loreal Hip lipgloss in Darling.

Thanks for all the info !! ... i think that its very interesting to know that u rnt bi-racial as they have european and black hair traits, but you prove that black hair can grow long - if you take care of it well - which is something that i think alot of young black girls such as myself were fooled into thinking otherwise ...awesome video...and lovely hair :)

If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.

My hait is fine, too and I NEVER use heat on it. I just go to my TRUSTED stylist and she has hair down her back!

So, yeah, it might be best to not put heat on your hair if it is anything like mine
