  • I think 52 has the potential to become real big in the MA world. However, sometimes it is best to leave it real and humble, instead of making it to much of a sport or a hype thing.

This I definitely appreciate in Lyte's videos, no ridiculous costumes, no machismo, no extravagant settings. Just two guys doing their thing. And doing it very well.

  • Im taking notes Lyte...peace out brotha

  • Beautiful, I'm a fan of defense. I would love to sit underneath this brotha but i'm out here in Cali. Do you know of any-1 out this way?

  • Great video!

  • @mahithnair you should learn how to stay on your toes in a small stance or wide....flatfoot fighting takes away from movement if your being hit its good to ground the pressure by using a flatfoot approach....you want to block while moving not standing an blocking because this will give your opponent the lane to overwhelm you....but your right you want to know how to go from a small stance to a wide at will...

  • @52blocksinfo

So do you suggest , I stay on my toes using a narrow or small base during my punching ? and on a flat feet while blocking ? and I am hoping that while i bob and weave i can have a wide stance and then come back to the narrow base. Please clear this for me .

I have started being very conscious about my feet distance during my sparring and training sessions .

  • @mahithnair --- Profound , really profound knowledge . Just to let you know. Very few people look into such minute details . But these small things matter most in the making of a true fighter.

thank you for your suggestion. i am still drilling all your videos for knowledge.

  • @mahithnair the distance between your feet directly effects your power and leverage....so knowing how to use a small base will help you to hit harder using a wider stance will give you the ability to brekgrong quicker but it takes off your power so many untrained fighters use a wide stance an both feet planted this stance will only get you hit more by a fighter who knows how and when to do both...but planted feet is good for absorbing hits you have to learn how to shift your weight
