Peggy March sang the german version of I will follow him in the early 70ies - with the same lyric like Pet Clark's version but the title was Addio Addio

Ferner sang iItalien Betty Curtis diesen Song.

  • ja stimmt - Peggy March hat Anfang der 70er auch eine Version von I will follow him in deutsch gesungen -unter dem Titel Adio Adio

  • Nice.

I love Petula Clark and I love listening to the German language sung. (I don't know why, I just like the sound of German being sung....)

  • @scaasifun

  • a german spy , posing as a brittish pop singer! u never know! heil or else

  • great in German first class

  • @hoffmann9471 sehr gut

  • @khtx Danke your welcome to us

  • @BobChippewa :Hi bob! I know it is 7 months hence but here is an answer to your question!Pet Clark from England released a record to 60 mill UK population. She perhaps sold a few more platters to australian, New Zealand, Sth African and other commonwealth listeners. Now Germany with a 60 mill market, France with 50 mill, Italy with 50 mill, Spain 50 mmm nice! I think the best at the multilingual was Little Vicky Leandros-German,dutch, greek etc 9 languages. Apres toi.worth a listen!!

  • this would have been from the early 60s not 70s; hearing it in german definitely calls up shades of kenneth anger's 'scorpio rising' and germany during hitler's rise to power... i love petula clark!
