Sustainable Community Plans (SCP) is a program to help make American cities and regions, especially those underserved or at risk, more environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable.
Each SCP will be tailored to reflect individual community needs, leadership potential, and available funding. This program will guide the creation of a customizable template for sustainable planning, useful for immediate application in municipalities, counties, and regions, and throughout the United States. The first SCP will be held in the City of Tracy, California, and will kick off in the Spring of 2009. Visit www.town-green.org to learn more.
